£65

8 places left

A half day in mixed woodland learning the ten species worth knowing and the five that could kill you.

We meet at the car park and spend the morning walking slowly and looking closely. You will handle real specimens, take spore prints, and learn the checks that keep foragers safe: gills, rings, volvas and spore colour. Everything found is identified together and the edible finds are cooked over a fire at the end. Suitable for complete beginners. Children over 12 welcome with an adult.

Booking opens soon — email us to be put on the list.
